1864.- In its beginnings, todays Ramada Plaza Leon was once the residence of Don Ángel Bustamante, who received the emperors Maximiliano y Carlota.
1900.- Many years later, in Portal Bravo (main street of the Hotel) a fire broke loose and the entire zone had to be rebuilt, this gave way to the construction of the hotel with only 12 rooms, property of Don Segundo De Giovanini.
1963.- In 1963, Mr. Guillermo Vera Sotomayor bought the hotel from Mr. De Giovanini and from there began his first extension, with which he had 128 rooms.
1980.- Mr. Vera Sotomayor left the hotel administration in the hands of his son Guillermo Vera Morales, who was in charge of the hotel until his death, in the year 1980.
1988.- Continuing with its entrenched development and growth, in 1988 an executive section with 40 rooms was attached to the hotel.
2015.- Innovation is part of the growth, so Howard Johnson becomes Ramada Plaza León, with a radical change in its concept and facilities.
2017-2018.- We are creditors of different recognitions and we have become a PET FRIENDLY hotel.
2019.- We consolidate ourselves as one of the hotels with more time and knowledge in the market. Giving you the best of us day by day.
